TROSSI GUARANTEES FREE HELP FOR THE BOAT

Rescuing a human life is always without charge for those in need of help, but the costs of saving a boat need to be recovered and are paid mainly by the owner.

For the Finnish Lifeboat Institution's Trossi members, help for rescuing the boat is also free of charge. Service can range from minor repairs to more serious cases where a boat needs to be towed to the nearest rescue station or repair place. When necessary, help may also be given in getting a repairman and temporary place of storage or dockyard for the boat.

The Trossi membership card entitles one to similar service in the waters of Aland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Annual Membership in Trossi

For new members, the fee is € 70 (this includes the membership fee of the voluntary association).

If you are an existing member, the fee is € 40 (membership of the voluntary association is paid separately).

If you wish to have the Trossi membership applied to several boats at the same time, there is a charge of € 40 for each additional boat.
